UAV Data Annotator / CAD Draughtsman

We are looking for a UAV Data Annotator / CAD Draughtsman to prepare topographic maps and survey drawings from UAV (drone) imagery, DGPS data and Total Station (TS) survey data. Key Responsibilities • Prepare topographic maps and CAD drawings using UAV orthomosaics, DGPS points and Total Station data. • Annotate and label UAV imagery and maps, including boundaries, roads, buildings, land parcels and other features. • Import, process and plot survey points (coordinates, levels) in CAD. • Digitise features such as roads, buildings, drains, trees, utilities and water bodies. • Draw contours, spot levels and generate base maps with proper layers, symbols and legends. • Add dimensions, annotations, labels and place names as per project requirements. • Review and validate annotations and drawings against field data for accuracy and completeness, and correct errors. • Coordinate with survey and mapping teams to clarify field notes and project specifications. • Maintain organised project files, drawing versions and records. Required Skills • Proficiency in AutoCAD (6 months to 3 years of experience). • Understanding of survey data: DGPS and Total Station coordinates, levels and field books. • Good drafting skills and strong attention to detail. • Experience with Civil 3D, QGIS, Global Mapper or similar software. • Familiarity with UAV orthomosaics, point clouds or DEMs. • Experience preparing contour maps or DTM/TIN surfaces.
